Why does this blog exist?
Indeed, why?
If you were curious enough to visit the about page, you would already have some idea of what to expect from this blog. However, it doesn’t explain why it exists in the first place.
For the last few years, I have noticed that many engineers I’ve met do not use their common sense as much as they think. I believe that’s unfortunate, but obviously, I do not want to blame anyone or pretend I’m the only one who is clever. Instead, I want to share my experience and help fellow engineers learn how to apply this principle and achieve more in their careers by improving their productivity and the quality of the products they build. I strongly believe it would be beneficial for the industry, and I sincerely hope I can help by contributing.
I would like to promote concepts like common sense and systems thinking in software engineering and try to lead by example – all my posts will be based on my own experiences
Future Plans or What to Expect in the Posts?
As of today, my thinking includes the following:
- Code-related technical posts
- Examples of using libraries
- Thoughts on system design
- Thoughts and approaches on code quality and areas for improvement
- Engineering hiring-related questions
- Managing up and down
- Complaints or excitement caused by technologies or people (I’m also human, despite all the cat pictures in this blog after all!)
Of course, this isn’t an exhaustive list – times change, as do people and opinions.
Am I Competent to Write This Blog?
I have more than a decade of software engineering experience. I also hold a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, if you value formal education.
Years of experience have taught me that the solution must depend on the requirements and that there is no silver bullet. I cannot insist that what worked for me (and what I write here) will work for you, but I strongly believe that the approach I describe can help you achieve your goals.

Why Are There AI-Generated Pictures Throughout This Blog?
Well, I am passionate about technology, and I find AI to be an amazing tool that makes everyday life easier. I’m also a cat person, so most of the pictures are cat-focused.
In the case of this blog, I think it’s a nice way to inject a little bit of fun into technically focused texts. I hope you feel the same!
